He
is receiving treatment at Birmingham Children’s Hospital,
meaning his parents Louise and Richard are forced to split their
time between there and looking after their three other children
Henry, 1, Charlie, 11, and Isabelle, 8.
George
has just finished his first round of chemotherapy and lost all his
beautiful blond locks of hair. He has to take 15 oral medicines a
day, have blood tests and undergo blood transfusions every three
days. His family are hoping he can be moved to a nearby hospital
for his second round.
His
mum Louise said: “We want to raise awareness for all the cancer
charities that have supported us and encourage people to give
blood and sign up for the bone marrow register list. https://bethematch.org/
“George
is relying on blood transfusions to keep him alive, and now he is
just starting to lose his hair which is quite a big thing for
him.”
Charities
which offer support include CLIC Sargent, Ronald McDonald House
Charities and Theodora Children’s Charity.
