On the Old Cricket Common, a fun-filled family day, with attractions including Bhangra dance performance, vintage cars, animal petting, Heritage Too band, and Dancing Dogs. The ‘Craft Village’ will house mosaics, marquetry, wood carving, pyrography, jewellery, furniture renovation, pottery, spinning & weaving. Plus stalls & games, Flower & Produce show, Tombola, the infamous Dog Show, flying birds of prey, Silent Auction, and Cookham Cluckers Ukulele Band to round off the day. All fuelled with WI teas, BBQ, Indian and Sri Lankan food stalls, and the Cherry Pickers’ famous green & white beer tent.


The Fete raises money for
local charities, including: www.drivenforward.co.uk supporting lonely & vulnerable adults with accessible transport, day trips, arts & crafts, and social activities, www.thedashcharity.org.uk supporting individuals and families who experience domestic abuse in RBWM, www.cruse.org.uk,Thames Valley branch, supporting those struggling with bereavement, www.mencapmaidenhead.co.uk Monday Club provides a range of activities for local young adults with learning disability and www.samaritans.org, Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead branch.
