You can then RSVP for the events you want to attend also you’ll see new
events as soon as they are organized.
How to edit your Meetup settings
Some of you have asked how you can stop getting so many notifications from
Meetup once you’ve registered. Here’s how to adjust your
settings.
Click on the drop down next to your profile photo
- Select Settings
- Ensure you are on the General tab on left hand side
- Scroll down to Your Interests
- Select only those things you are interested in, untick anything you are not interested in
- Scroll down to further and under the blue section you’ll see a box that says “We'll notify you about other Meetups within x miles that match your interests”
- Select the miles that you want. For example if you only want to see other Meetups in Cookham then select 2 miles.
