Format
Bring a picnic and refreshments to eat in the interval and enjoy a relaxed concert of varied music performed by outstanding musicians. Summer is a time for fun and this occasion is designed to be enjoyed by family and friends whilst supporting a good cause. The musicians taking part are:
The
Maidenhead Citadel Band. The Salvation Army is well-known for its
brass band and vocal music. The Senior Band consists of around thirty
accomplished musicians who can be frequently found taking part in various
functions both in Maidenhead and elsewhere in the country. The band will
be going to Finland in May 2009 but will be back in time for this concert.

are members of the Reading
Barbershop Harmony Club, a leading Barbershop club with a high reputation
at local, national and international level for harmony singing and
audience entertainment. You are in for a treat as Mervyn Clark (lead),
Geraint Lewis (tenor), Andy Wheeler (baritone) and Graham Swatridge (bass)
entertain you with their varied repertoire and fine singing.
Geneviève
Usher and Tamara Migrina have been singing together for some time now
but the name G&T is new! Their voices create a
unique blend of sound, and this together with their mix of interesting
music from across Europe, delivers a cocktail to stimulate every audience.
Their repertoire covers a wide range of music, both solos and duets, and is designed to please any group.
