“Hairy” or
“Scary” Please
join the National Trust Warden on a guided walk around Cockmarsh. The
aim of this walk is to introduce you to the natural history, local history
and the archaeological sites but primarily to introduce you to the
livestock grazing these commons during the summer months. Also to explain
“Common rights,” the commoners, grazing regimes, animal welfare and
the effect that the public access and dogs have on the animals. The
walk will start from the National Trust car park at Cookham Moor 11.00
