COOKHAM DEAN JAZZ FESTIVAL

July 23rd and 24th 2005

23 July Saturday lunchtime

We hope to run a Jazz Café in either the Village Hall or the WI building - plans are not yet too advanced!  This will have some three small jazz groups or soloists who will perform over the lunchtime period - with lunch being provided if required along with a bar.

23 July Saturday evening  Gospel concert in St. John the Baptist church.  The evening will be run by the Village Club, with all proceeds going towards the current Village Hall improvements.  The choir is called the IDMC and is pretty good!  The programme will range over a number of styles  - including jazz, of course.  Watch out for advertising and ticket sales.
24 July Sunday lunchtime All three pubs will see jazz in their gardens so there will be ample opportunity to pick up a wide variety of jazz over the two days.
24 July 2005 Sunday afternoon Jazz on Cookham Dean Primary School playing field
