'Cookham and the Great War 1914-1918' is a history of a village caught up in the greatest conflagration the World has ever seen.  A socially divided village, the toffs and the ordinary working people came together in adversity.  Grief was a common bond as they worked together to remember their war dead.   This exhibition looks at the remarkable stories of the men on the monuments and the villagers who built them.
