Archer's Lynda Snell in Cookham

A real treat was available at the Community room at Cookham Library on Monday 8 March. Lynda Snell of the Archers fame played by actress Carol Boyd visited Cookham to give a talk on the speaking books that she helps read for the enjoyment of many. Lynda said that she had a real love of literature particularly Dickens. There was sadly only a small number of people from Cookham who came along for a very interesting half hour.
Lynda is a great gardening lover too. One visitor to the event was surprised that she was so tall, six foot one inch.
