| Thursday 24th September saw the opening of Rendezvous at Elizabeth House. Rendezvous is a place for people suffering from dementia and their carers, where they can get together and chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit. There will also be activities that will help the mentally impaired. The opening day saw a lot of helpers who have been involved in setting up Rendezvous in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Society. It is being supported by Holy Trinity Church and is an outreach activity of the Society. It is being run by an Alzheimer's Society manager Susan Forwood. Rendezvous will be open every Thursday from 3-5pm at Elizabeth House. Everyone is very welcome. | ||||
