New Look Cookham Tandoori

(17 June 2002)

Not only is the Cookham Tandoori celebrating its 20th Anniversary, but also a brand new face lift to the whole restaurant. To celebrate this there was a private celebration and formal opening of the newly refurbished restaurant.
Welcome to the newly refurbished Cookham Tandoori

A host of prestigious guests were there for an extraordinary evening of culture, exotic tastes, latest sounds & fine champagne. The ladies sparkled in beautiful clothes and the charm of the East pervaded the atmosphere.

There was also the opportunity to preview one of Britain's most exciting artists of today. Sacha Jafri revealed his
latest collection of breathtaking contemporary art, encapsulating his world of magical realism in a way that has caught the imagination of critics & collectors. Sacha was at the evening busy taking photographs.

The whole restaurant has been beautifully designed and is much lighter and airier with the removal of one of the walls.

The whole restaurant was packed with guests, both upstairs and downstairs and they even spilled out onto the pavement outside with glasses of champagne and Pimms.
