All Change at the Arcade

The Cookham Arcade has a variety of new businesses and every single shop is now occupied.  There is an interesting mixture of shops which should add to what Cookham has to offer. 

 

On the left as you enter the Arcade is Fallen Angel for Heavenly Gifts who also have a branch in Henley. Fallen Angel offers ladies clothing, jewellery and accessories. Ines who runs the Cookham shop even has some of her own dress designs on display.

Next to Fallen Angel is Kidsparade offering clothes for kids from newborn up to around ten years old. There are lots of lovely bright colours and also gifts and knickknacks for those special presents.

KIDSPARADE


Next to Kidsparade is Source Images offering photography and videos run by Jordan Banks and Ben Marlow.  Jordan is the photographer and Ben is the videographer. In addition was highly commended in the Photographer of the Year Competition 2007. Jordan and Ben are available for Weddings, Portraits, Corporate and Commercial works.


Ribbons and Pearls next to Source Images has been in the Arcade for several years and Vivi Mitchell who runs it started off on the other side with one unit and then moved to the other side when Chic's Hairdresser left into two units. She is now in the process of setting up a third unit which can be used for fitting and as a place to discuss clients needs.

Next to Viv's new unit is Culinary Aspirations, offering home made bread, sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiches and cakes, also Italian and

Indian food ranges. You can also sit down and enjoy a cup of tea with a slice of cake or even a cream tea. In addition Culinary Aspirations cater for parties and business events and in addition they are offering to make up a picnic if you would like to go out for the day. Culinary Aspirations could make up for the loss of the WI Market.

CULINARY ASPIRATIONS


Another recent shop is Celebration Creations which is opening on 1 May 2008.  Lisa Slatter will be offering top quality celebration cakes for all occasions, hand made chocolates and greetings cards and helium balloons. 

 

Then finally is Kent Tailoring Service, which must be the business that has been in the Arcade the longest, offering alterations and tailoring requirements.
