Sanctum on the Green, Cookham Dean's best kept secret, organised a very successful Family Fun Day on Easter Monday. Along with celebrity chef's Luke Thomas's irresistible menu, families enjoyed a fun-packed afternoon which included an Easter Egg hunt, face-painting, bouncy castles and Sima's Action Kids.

Children's entertainer, Sima Stannage said: "It was a real pleasure to perform at this beautiful location. I haven't been to this venue for decades and was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely it looked with its family-friendly bar and restaurant serving delicious food and its lovely gardens. The staff were very friendly, charming and thoroughly welcoming.

Although it was very cold outside, the warmth of the kids' smiles made the whole event really enjoyable. I certainly had a fun afternoon dancing, singing and playing games with the kids. It was also delightful to see our face painter decorating the children's faces with Easter eggs, butterflies, bunnies and other Easter themes.

I had three generations of my family with me for the afternoon and together with our friends, we had a great Bank Holiday afternoon. I can't wait until the next time!"
