Friends of Holy Trinity Church Cookham

(27th September 2004)

Can you imagine our village without the focal point of Holy Trinity church and it's bells, it's lawns, roses and especially it's clock to keep you on time when walking by the river.

It costs over £500 a year just to keep that clock serviced and running on time.  The gardens need to be maintained and all manner of things have to be attended to for making it part of Cookham's history and have it looking magnificent by the river Thames.  Even if you're not a regular church goer you must surely be proud to have the church here in our village.

Regular donations at the services are not enough to keep the church well maintained so we look to all of Cookham to become a Friend of Holy Trinity.

Your donation, whatever amount can commemorate an event special to you.  Perhaps to note the birth or death of a family member or a wedding anniversary.

This information will be noted in a commemorative book in a beautiful oak case in the church.  Please go and have a look and be part of it.

Your donation can be sent to the Parish Office, Holy Trinity, Church Gate, Cookham or phone 529661 for a form to pay by standing order if you prefer.

Please do help our ancient historic church that we're so fortunate to have.
