Rev Michael Smith and Terrie R. and Ryan Green held a 4pm service at Holy Trinity on Sunday 14 May 2006 for pets! All were invited provided they were well behaved, for the more skittish it was suggested that a photo was brought along instead.  

 

Yes, dogs, rabbits, hampsters, guinea pigs and even Lynda Mallett's ants were there to be prayed for.  Holy Water added to the aroma once the pet's had been sprinkled .

Special blessings were held over each pet and his owner.  All Things Bright And Beautiful was sung at the end of a very amusing and unusual service.
