Unframed paintings are for sale immediately

Over three hundred paintings are displayed and are for sale and can be picked up at the end of the exhibition on August Bank Holiday. In addition there are also unframed paintings that can be purchased immediately.

Painting by Reg Southgate who died in the last year

There was a special corner of four paintings which are the work of Club Members who have died in the last year. Muriel Turnbull widely known for her charming pastel portraits, particularly of children; Reg Southgate who favoured scenes of everyday life; and Jane Horton whose flower paintings graced the Art Club exhibitions for many years. Also sadly missed is Beatrice Coleman whose attractive warercolours gave so much pleasure.

There was a wide variety of sculptures with a delightful statuette of a young child skipping. Also some beautiful ceramics including pots and jugs in lovely, subtle colours.

The Mill  - watercolour

There is the most amazing selection of subjects from teddy bears to elephants in the jungle. There were several of places round Cookham, which were selling fast. The standard was unbelievably high and is worth a visit.
