Cookham Arts Club Holds its 61st Annual Exhibition at Pinder Hall

(28 August 2002)

The Cookham Arts Club held its 61st Annual Exhibition at the Pinder Hall between 17 and 26 August 2002.  This is the main event of the Club's year and it has always attracted wide entry, both from members and non members.  All were of an incredibly high standard and could well have competed with the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Over the years, many established and well known artists have had their introduction to the Arts through the Club and it is a function of the Club to give encouragement to beginners and to afford them help and advice from fellow members.
