The bellringers of Holy Trinity are the best in Berkshire - official!

 

After winning the prestigious Lorna Newton Bellringers cup awarded to the best tower in the regional striking competition featuring the towers of East Berkshire and South Bucks. 

The competition was held at Winkfield on Saturday afternoon 13 October and Cookham, ringing last, beat off stiff opposition from the ringers of Beaconsfield, Lane End, Bray, Chesham among others. The competition involves ringing perfect rounds and 120 changes on 6 bells. The annual test is a knockout contest and Cookham will properly engrave their name on the trophy.
