The
Cookham Society's Victorian Christmas Fayre took place at Moor Hall on
Saturday 12th November. A real start to Christmas. The stall holders had
been asked to dress up in Victorian dress and everybody had made a real
effort to play the part. There were over 30 stalls not to mention
Father Christmas.
The
re was a very magical air to the afternoon, as all the tables were dressed
the same with white cloths and greenery decorating them. Theresa May
MP came to see what was happening after the grand opening by Timmy Mallett.
Trade was brisk and a large number of people came along to visit the Fayre.
Sally Lloyd-Parry had been the brains behind it and should be congratulated
on producing something so professional.
