The first Cookham Dean Gravity Grand Prix held on 14 October was a runaway success and plans for 2008 are already in progress. The standard was incredibly high and some looking incredibly professional in the initial parade. There was an initial parade of all the cars, although one did have a minor problem starting and needed some swift repairs. The crowd joined in with water pistols and balloons to add to the fun. The overall winners were the Thames Air Ambulance with their magnificent creation On-2-Wheels. There were also other awards for the best machines in various categories.

The Temporary Road Surfers

They say they spent more time on what to wear than building the car. After a nasty crash the wounded came back to carry on.

Team Jolly
