It was a new venture for Cookham Bridge Rotary, Carol Barnes the organiser said that she had never done anything like it before.  She had decided to have a Table Top Sale to help the Tsunami Appeal.  A Table Top Sale is effectively a Car Boot Sale inside in the warm.  Each table cost £20 and you could sell off all those things that you had accumulated over the years and no longer had any need for. A sort of instant e-bay. It was a cold, windy day but the sun was shining and a rush of people came along on Sunday morning, 13 February, to the Pinder Hall in Lower Road.  By lunch time it had started to snow, but not for long, although by that time the tables were starting to look quite bare.
