HERRIES EUROVISION SONG CONTEST

On Thursday 27th September Herries celebrated the European Day of Languages. This was marked by a special Assembly, where all the children participated in the Herries Eurovision Song Contest by singing in the language of their choice and dressing in clothing reflecting the diversity and richness of languages used in Europe and other continents. |

||
| During their French lessons pupils have been working visually on the alphabets of the different languages and they also designed a logo to reflect the theme ‘United through languages’, using ICT and a free-hand drawing. This allowed the children the opportunity to be creative in thinking about designs. | ||
|
|
||
| A French style breakfast was served before the Assembly. The celebrations were much enjoyed. Vive la Difference. | ||
