Floods Update 

(10 January 2003)

In spite of the new flood relief system Cookham is again flooded along with Marlow.  Maidenhead does seem to have been spared however.

The Road to Temple

Road Closures:

  • The road across Cookham Moor is now completely dry although the barriers are still up and the traffic lights operating. 

  • The road between Cookham and Bourne End across Cookham Bridge has now been opened

  • Widbrooke Common from Cookham to Maidenhead is also now open

  • Quarry Wood Road from Cookham Dean to Marlow is now open again
