Deliciozo, Station Hill, Cookham

Sorry to see the whinge about Delizioso. If they were running a production line they would never run out and be cheap as chips. But I have been there early and seen that they bake the same morning, and bring in fresh veg from the greengrocer in Bourne End. So it seems obvious to me that when they run out they don't serve dog ends, because they don't have any. You don't like the prices? See what you get for the money in Marlow!

The couple who run the place are so lovely and enthusiastic and I am sure that they would like to keep you all happy. I’ve had coffee there several times and it was very good! I’m sure that the stock and service will change with customer’s feedback. Remember it’s still a very early stage and they have got long way to go.

I've found the staff charming and the coffee excellent. As for the price; I stopped in last week with the kids for a cup of coffee, two good-sized gingerbread men, a bottle of water and a large juice drink - all for a fiver. Not bad, I thought.

I went into Delizioso and was pretty disappointed. Went in about 1pm, they had run out of pretty much everything. Ordered some hugely overpriced sandwiches (which they got one of the orders wrong and had to re-make), they were reluctant to make the sandwiches and tried to force on us the pre-made ones in the cabinet. Service and the shop in general seemed pretty haphazard and in complete disarray. While these may be initial teething problems (of which it sounds like they have had a lot), i won't be going back there - people are prepared to pay high prices but only if they think they are actually getting something for what they pay.

it's early days so I assume the stock and choices will rise eventually.

What a shame it's not open on Sunday (or at least Sunday morning) as there is so much trade to be had. Last Sunday around 10.00 am the area was buzzing with people getting papers, walking dogs, cycles etc... would have been great to sit and have coffee and croisants while watching the world go by... seriously though, it would be an extremely busy cafe on Sundays...

I went into the new coffee shop today and thought it was fab! It's about time that Cookham had somewhere to go for a coffee no matter who you are. I was in my work clothes and not looking my best, whilst mum's with kids and people in suits were drinking cappuccinos but was not made to feel out of place. Thank you!

Popped in there to get a few bits for lunch on Saturday and think I will be every weekend now! Well done, food was great and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Keep up the good work.

Popped in yesterday. Fantastic selection of meats, cheeses, chocolate and loads more. Coffee to die for - and the people are lovely too. Thoroughly recommend it!!!
