Our lunch at the Ferry ....
Delicious scallops, fish and chips,, seafood pasta, huge piece of chicken. At the same time, the Swan Upping team arrived.
Cost of meal for four £80 incl. tip. Three people had starters but no alcohol. One pudding between us and coffees. (for those that are interested as the Ferry's prices always seem to be a constant interest). I think it's the location and ambience of the place that has it heaving on a Monday lunch time. The food's ok and so is the service. But the interior is interesting with high ceilings making a change from the low slung ceilings and more intimate feel of many of our other eating establishments. The outside tables and umbrellas were heaving with those eating and watching the swan upping. |
