August Bank holiday Cookham family bike ride....

| August Bank holiday and 22 people set off from Cookham station for a delightful and eventful family bike ride... |

| Peddling past the turkeys at Kings Coppice Farm, and over the fields to Cookham Dean, we found Malders lane a wonderful route into Maidenhead.. |
|
|
|
|
| Suitable for all abilities (family pic) we cycled to Braywick where we enjoyed a picnic lunch... |

| some good gossip ... |

| and a game of rounders ... |
|
|
|
But the drama unfolded with Guy doing a
spectacular Endo (whatever that is!) and having to be picked
off the road! Theo managed to drop his bike into a wasps nest and we
fled as the wasps went bonkers! all in all there was plenty of drama!

| We were amazed to find we'd done 18 miles and most of us could still smile at the end of it! |
