About
20 people gathered on Easter Monday for a family bike ride. All
ages and all degrees of experience -
Starting from
Cookham station at 11am we peddled up to Winter Hill sharing the road
with horses! The Spring weather was delightful, with daffodils in the
hedgerows, new born lambs, pheasants and rabbits bounding all over
the place!

Through
Marlow to Munday Dean Bottom, where we faced a bit of hill. Three heroes
got up it, the rest fell exhausted at the top!
But
a picnic at Marlow Common by the World War One trenches revived us all
especially when we played trench warfare and leaf bombed each other!
From
there we continued through the lovely Chiltern lanes to Frieth and the
Yew Tree pub for a well earned breather!
A
top day's cycling - 25 miles and no punctures! Heroes all of us!
