Dinner on the Hotel Lawn, brought
out the crowds! Bob Dulson inspired this event that
involved 70 artists. They were busy from 10am 'til 2pm but
all were finished in time to walk over to the Grove on Odney Lane
as the new Cookham bells rang out for the start of the Festival.

the crowd to some impromptu Festival winners - Two Little Boys
"It always makes me cry!" declared Wendy,
Tie
me kangaroo down Sport had the crowd cheering and he finished on
Waltzing Matlilda - perfect for a glorious English Spring afternoon
with the bluebells out, the magnificent copper beech trees and
manicured lawns.
"Just
like a film set!" we cried. Thanks Rolf it was a real
highlight of the day.

Unity who told us Stanley would have been thrilled with the event.
