Chaucer came to Cookham on 21st April during the Hey Big Spencer day. The Tarrystone players performed the baudy Miller's Tale from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales

"And Absolom at once let fleet a fart, as loud as if it were a thunderclap!!"

The next will be the Pardoner's Tale. In addition they re-did the tableau of the Dinner on the Lawn which they had originally done for the Millennium Celebrations on Marsh Meadow.

Don't forget you can catch the Tarrystone Players on the next leg of their Canterbury Tales pilgrimage through Cookham, on May 3rd outside the Crown pub at 8pm.
