A wonderful night on the Moor on 3 May saw Chaucer's Canterbury Tales coming to a vocal crowd  outside the Crown!

 

Adapted by Richard James and narrated by M-J Saunders (who poured a beer over his head in anticipation of the election night results! M-J stood as a Conservative Borough Councillor and got voted in later that evening), the moral Pardoner's Tale had a hilarious touch courtesy of the monk John Hedger and his eager actor friends! And the audience joined in
