Cookham Festival 2007 is Launched

posted 26 April 2007

The 19th April 2007 found a gathering at Moor Hall of all those who are involved with the Cookham Festival 2007. This is the first year that the Destival has been called the Cookham Festival, in the past it was called the Trinity Festival to show that it included all three areas of Cookham, but people thought it was connected with Holy Trinity Church, which rather muddled people. The Festival was again co-ordinated by Michael Johnson who welcomed everyone and went through the programme which is over two weeks of events this time. The mayor and also Theresa May MP attended along with Councillors, people from various organisations and the organisers of the festival.
