There were over 130 people at the Pinder Hall on Friday evening 7th September for an Evening with Elvis organised as a fundraiser for Leukemia Research, and a very good night was had by all. Elvis covered all the classic Elvis tracks including Blue Suede Shoes, My Teddy Bear, Love Me Tender and Suspicious Minds and ended with the songs from the film GI Blues, such as Wooden Heart and Did you Ever.

For the Good Times

Final figures aren't in yet but it looks as if the evening raised over £1000 for Leukaemia Research.

I'm Nothing but a Hound Dog

Elvis is actually called Scott Elvis and although he lives in Essex he can often be seen entertaining the diners at the Little India restaurant in Lower Road, Cookham.  He is no stranger to fundraising and apart from having a wonderful voice, certainly gives value for money.   Apparently he is also appearing in Holby City later this month.
