Saturday 12th June 2004 was a lovely, balmy summer day. A wonderful day for a wedding.  It was Jill and Bryan who were tying the knot. Jill Cruse is well known for her catering expertise.  If you have been to any happenings in Cookham which include catering, it is highly likely that you have tasted Jill's fare, along with her cakes that she often sells at activities around the village.

Watch the birdie!

The wedding was succeeded by a great, great party on a boat on the Thames, departing from outside Holy Trinity Church Cookham following a 5pm wedding inside with Father Michael Smith marrying Jill Cruse and Bryan.

Toby Cruse, a talented musician, was on keyboard on the deck with Ching a fabulous sexy young violinist playing in the style of Vanessa May (only better and with more movement).  Her Chinese father is a violinist and her mother's a dancer.  The two qualities together in Ching were magical.

All the best to Bryan and Jill.
