Skateboaring Danger on Haldore Hill 30 May 2001 |
A teenager narrowly missed being badly injured on 30 May at around 7.00pm. The young person was skateboarding down Haldore Hill, a favourite place for skateboarders, particulary since it has been resurfaced and speed bumps have been installed, which adds to the skateboarding fun. |

| This particular time the teenager was unable to stop and carried on into Lower Road. Luckily he managed to jump off, but the skateboard continued across the road in front of an oncoming car. It hit the car, which then ran over it causing a puncture to the front tyre. The teenager ran off, so no one knows who was responsible. | ||||||
