Cookham.com's Techie Does it Again

(29 November 2003)

Cookham.com's techie, Simon Bysshe, is really getting his name known around the world. During his foundation Arts course at Southampton he became interested in film making, this led to him taking an interest in the filming of computer gaming and he made his first film Modern Day Gamers. During the summer, having been turned down for support by the chip manufacturer Intel, he financed himself to go to the Futuroscope in Poitiers, (near Cookham's twin town St Benoit) where the E-Sports World Cup was being held and he made his second gaming film ESReality Uncut. After this was made Intel were interested and they paid for Simon to go to the QuakeCon tournament in Dallas, Texas to make Modern Day Gamer 2.
