Amethyst School of Dance have recently all been awarded Honours in their 1st and 2nd Gold Bar with the I.D.T.A. Exam board.  Although the Amethyst School is in Maidenhead it is frequented by a few Cookhamites too as it is the nearest place where we can get tapping.

Teacher, Judy Watts says "it's a wonderful achievement for the ladies of our dance school".

The group meet weekly in Maidenhead at the Castle Hill Centre and also Pinkneys Green Community Centre and Woodburn Green in Bucks. A new beginners tap class will now start every Thursday morning at Castle Hill at 10.45am  and it's to be thoroughly recommended for a fun and different way to keep fit.  "Tap dancing makes you smile!"  says Lynda Mallett who's been coming along for years, but doesn't seem to improve much. "Timmy's tried it but fell off the tap laughing"!

Only thing required is a pair of tap shoes.  The group looks forward to welcoming you along.

Call Judy on 01628 523025 for details.
