A Top ride last night!  A perfect sunny warm evening saw the finest athletes in Cookham pedal off from Cookham station led by the rosiest pair of sunglasses ever....

Our Rose tinted Timy Tose!

Along Lower Road....

Up to Cookham Dean (without going up hill - it's true), past the turkey farm, horses on the bridlepath, to the Lemon tree (Golden Ball) to meet the Pinkneys Green cyclists... and have a beer..

only 5 months 'til Christmas!

How to get up to Cookham Dean without going up!

You meet the best looking horses on Cookham bridleways!

After a drink in the lowest bar in Cookham, we headed down past the  Maidenhead glider patch and under the A404.  through Temple and Hurley.

Are we nearly there yet?!

The Lemon Tree - the lowest roofed pub in Cookham!

A little breather in the pub!

secret track down under the A404

Billy leads the way...

The river was idyllic, especially through Tim's spex;  the cows ate thistles and we played rounders in the park until the fish and chips arrived.

Richard enjoys the sunset...

The river never looked better...

until seen through rose coloured  spex!

didn't know cows ate thistles!.

Bisham twilight....

rounders in the park

followed by fish and chips

Highlight of the night? Sam's bike snapping in two!!!!!

Unbelievable but we saw it happen.

So if anyone wants to raid the remains for spares it's yours!
