Barbara's Fast helps the World

Barnary Walmsley

Barbara Walmsley must have broken all records in 2003 with her annual fast for Oxfam.  She has now collected every single contribution from her sponsors, over 550 donors in all.  The photo on the left was taken by the Maidenhead Advertiser outside Sainsbury's in the centre of Maidenhead.

Oxfam has given a list of what can actually be bought with Barbara's sponsorship in 2003. It is incredible what her actions can do for the world's most needy. She really has done a wonderful job and thoroughly deserves our congratulations.
