115th Parish Meeting

On Tuesday 25th March, the Parish Council held their one hundred and fifteenth Parish Meeting at the Community Room behind the Library. There were three speakers. Firstly our new Community Officer Peter Boardman talked about his job and how he will be supporting the Cookhams. He was followed by Cherry Bluett who talked about the Census which is due this month and answered some questions on how the forms should be filled in. The final speaker was David Hemmingway who has been the lock keeper at Temple Lock for many years. After the talks there were some magnificent refreshments prepared by John Hewitt Catering accompanied by a glass or two of wine.
