Cookham Wanderers' Christmas Party in January

The
Kings Arms in Cookham was rocking as 40 footballing Cookham Wanderers and
their partners partied on Saturday night 29 January 2011. A fabulous three
course meal was followed by games, quizzes, annual awards and a night of
dancing to live music. There were many thanks to the King's Arms
manageress Helen for being a fantastic hostess as ever and her great hard
working staff.
It was a good way to blot out the Wanderers unlikely 2 - 0 defeat in an 11
a side friendly against the Beavers in Bray earlier in the afternoon.
Wanderer Simon Davie brought his band and the revellers responded by
singing their hearts out!
The Wanderers play 5 a side every Friday night at St Pirans school Tippet
Hall.
