The visitors from Cookham's twin town in St Benoit France, have arrived at Cookham station on the 18:10 train from Paddington after leaving Poitiers at 9:30 this morning.  They came on Eurostar from Lille to Waterloo and then made their way across London.

Who is staying with me?

The French visitors will be staying with members of Cookham Twinning.  There are seventeen in all ranging from teenagers to OAPs.

   Bonsoir. Nice to meet you!

A packed weekend is planned, starting with a visit to the Stanley Spencer Gallery on Saturday with the Magic Flute at Eton in the evening, then a trip to London on Sunday, followed by drinks with Twinning's President, Richard Simmonds, and the a Halloween Party at the Jolly Farmer.
