Leopards Win District Shield

1st Cookham Cubs battled it out in driving rain for the Maidenhead and District league championship title.
Both packs were represented in our two teams. the Panthers and the
Leopards. An enthusiastic if bedraggled crowd watched the Leopards win the
match to complete their duo of titles, having previously won the District
knockout cup in which The Panthers were runners up!

None of this would have been possible without Simon Hatcher who has spent his Saturdays coaching our teams to undisputed victory. thank you Simon. see you in September!
as a footnote... We are looking for someone with a field to spare who may be able to loan it as a football pitch for the up-coming football season. unfortunately costs of hiring sports grounds are threatening the future of our competition. Please contact us at Cookham Cubs if you can help.
