Embroiderers
get top rating.
The first of
two embroidery workshops, run by the Maidenhead
Embroiderers' Guild proved a great success. Held in the
Teasdale's beautiful barn near Cookham dean church,
happy workshoppers commented:
Thoroughly
enjoyed workshop. Very informative, good instructors and
help with project.
Really
good fun, good introduction to embroidery, very helpful
instructors. Thank you!
An excellent 2
hour introduction to using felt, sequins and a variety
of stitching. Overseen by Loetitia, our group of 9 were
carefully guided from cutting and stitching to make
the final product. Well organised and enjoyable.
Lovely
morning, I really enjoyed myself. It is so good to
complete a project and not have half a job that lingers
for years in a drawer. Good timing to get it done in 2
hours - very good tuition. 10/10!!
The
Guild is holding another workshop at 10am on Saturday
21st May - 'Sumptuous Brooches'. And the
barn also houses a stunning collection of the Guild's
work which is open as part of the Festival Art Trail
between 20th and 22nd May.
