Mandy's talents
have featured throughout the Festival, onstage in A Grave
History , and with her wonderful open studio. Her use of acrylics
and collage are intriguing and most definately unique. Enjoy the
wonderful seascapes and portraits.
Watercolour
paintings, and textural acrylics with collage. Mandy
seeks to find enchantment in the mundane, looking for shapes
and patterns, for light and shade. She revels in texture and
colour, creating soft edges, and
crisp edges, lines and marks. Most of all
she loves pigment. Thick and oozy, thin and dribbly, washes,
smudging and scratching it,
stroking, stippling, spraying, being in control,
being surprised.
