ARTIST’S CONTACTS
You may have seen an exhibition and liked a painting but did not buy at the time. You may like to consider a commission. Here you will find details of all artists who’s work has been exhibited at The Gallery at Elizabeth house. Many will be able to make an appointment to show you more of their work in their own studios or let you know where their paintings are currently on display.
Joanna Yates
Joanna's work covers a broad range of styles and mediums because she 'creates' according to her mood. She has called her website 'fidgiti', basically because since childhood, she's always had at least one project on the go, if not three, whether drawing, painting, weaving or taking photographs. Over the last few years, she has introduced acrylic paintings to her portfolio and loves the rich vibrancy the paint creates on canvas.
Her earlier work includes intricately detailed watercolours of flowers, painstaking work with tiny brushes in an attempt to capture the delicacy of each petal, veins and all.
Recent acrylic work includes the Angel in Holy Trinity Churchyard, as previously painted by Stanley Spencer and Odney. Joanna's other exhibits will include a range of acrylics on canvas, mixed media pieces, botanical watercolours, weaving and photography on greetings cards.
