Crime: 12 July 2007

Cllr. John Fido the Chairman of the Windsor NW Association, noticed a suspicious car which had been parked in his road for a few days, which did not seem to move, and was definitely out of place. He passed the details to me, I did a PNC check and discovered the car had been stolen from Slough on the 6th July and dumped in his road.  If you see something suspicious - don't talk about it - do something about it. Your instincts will usually be correct, rely on them.

Next, we have had Nottingham Knockers out in force across Maidenhead for the past few days in Cookham Rise, Boyn Hill Road and Oaken Grove. Yesterday in Datchet we had men going around in a van apparently tipping stuff into gardens then going to the front door offering to clean it up - for money !

PLEASE REMEMBER OUR MOTTO WHICH SHOULD BE ENGRAINED ON YOUR HEART - WE DO NOT BUY GOODS AND SERVICES AT THE DOOR !

If you get Nottingham knockers it should be an automatic call to the police so that we can track them and send out a car to have a word with them !
