Crime: 16 July 2007

 

Still an overall reduction of crime this week as opposed to this week last year. Still though loads of stuff being left on display in cars and being stolen. Quite a few cars are being left with stuff on display and left unlocked !

 

CRIME:

FIFIELD:

I am setting up the whole of Fifield village for NW on Wednesday 8th August in the pub at 7.30 p.m. as, Fifield has been moved from part of the Dedworth Beat and PC Graham Slater over to Maidenhead as part of Holyport / Bray with PC Pete John as their Beat Officer.

15/7 Ledger Lane. A witness saw 2 offenders breaking into a shed and stealing beer and wine. The police arrived very quickly and 2 lads are helping them with their enquiries !

 

CENTRAL AREA MAIDENHEAD:

15/7 Denmark Street. Tyre Company. Fire at premises. The Fire Brigade were called and believe it to be Arson.

 

WALTHAM ST. LAWRENCE:

14/7 VAMOOSE BURGLARY. Offenders entered house through unlocked rear door. Stole handbag from the kitchen plus keys and 2 cars outside. A grey MG and a red Citroen C4.

 

COX GREEN:

15/7 DISTRACTION BURGLARY. Northumbria Road. 2 offenders knocked on the door saying they were from the Water Board. The front door was found open but it is not known what was stolen.

16/7 Bedford Close. Entry via insecure side window. TV and mobiles stolen.

13/7 Desborough School. Forced entry and stole 2 monitors, cash and a projector.

16/7 Wessex Way. Witness reported 3 lads kicking the shutters to try and get in.

 

BRAY / HOLYPORT:

15-16/7 Arkley Court. Unknown means of entry 2 handbags stolen.

16/7 Ascot Road. Car attacked by lad in a dark hooded top.

 

BOYN VALLEY:

15/7 Wootten Way. Offender climbed into an open downstairs bedroom window. A jewellery box and cash were stolen. As the offender made off he was intercepted by the NW Co-ordinator !!! The jewellery box was recovered but the offender made of with the cash. Can I congratulate that NW Co-ordinator for their bravery and excellent work. We are so lucky that our NW members are so dedicated and work tirelessly on behalf of their members.

14-15/7 Boyn Hill Road. Wing mirror stolen.
