To
give you something to do over the Bank Holiday weekend while out and
about, The Area Commander Superintendent Mike Ismay has asked me to
circulate a car for you to find and more particularly be aware of.
Yesterday
we had quite a few cars done. Most in rural locations just before 6 a.m.

It
was a burgundy Jaguar XJ8 index S 180 RRW. This car was stolen in Surry on
the 8th August, so has been out and about for some time. The police are
very interested in the whereabouts of this car - particularly during the
day. Is it parked up discretely in your road ? Parked somewhere perhaps
that is a little hidden ? If you see it in the early hours please phone it
through immediately. Time date, location and descriptions of any
occupants.
The
car stolen yesterday in Cockpole Green has been recovered. Being a
beautiful and very expensive car, it had a tracker fitted ! A word to the
wise !
Very
quiet yesterday - only 14 crime reported to the police for the whole of
this area.

Burglary
Non Dwellings - 1 School, Station Hill, Cookham. 23/8 lunchtime.
Window frame removed. Once inside the alarm was disconnected, school
ransacked and cash stolen. Did anyone see anything suspicious ? It must
have been noisy and was during the day when people are about. Anything
that might help us find the culprits please on 0845 8 505 505.
Criminal
damage - 22-23/8 Boyn Valley Road. All 7 car windows smashed bar the
rear windscreen, plus 2 tyres punctured. Surely someone saw or heard
something ? You may have been driving / walking past and saw something
suspicious. Again if you did please phone it through on the 0845 8 505
505. If you want to remain completely anonymous then Crimestoppers on 0800

That's
it. The weather should improve so have a good - and most importantly a
crime free weekend.
