Often, I circulate details of cars that the police are interested in and would like to locate. We cannot be in every road, 7 days a week. Residents can assist both the police and their communities; by phoning through details of suspicious cars and people, walking or driving around their neighbourhoods. It's the jigsaw puzzle principal and you do not know which piece you have, or how it fits into the whole picture. The police are continually involved in activity targeting offenders and information provided by the public, is vital to the successful outcome of such activity. Together we can crack crime.

That's it - very quiet over the last 24 hours.

Still issues in our rural and quieter locations, so please remain alert and phone through anything you feel might be suspicious on the 0845 8 505 505 number.
