Crime
has quietened down again. I was at a debrief meeting this morning to find
out how everyone felt Halloween and Bonfire night went.
THEFT
OF METAL. There were 2 incidents over the last few days. One was
reported immediately in Manor Lane. When challenged they made off in a P
reg. Ford Escort. It is still happening. The police stop checked a
suspicious Fiat Panda on the 7th in the Bath Road. They found lead and
gloves in the boot ! Can everyone be especially alert particularly when
passing buildings that might have lead on them - churches, village halls
etc. As they just rip it off, the cost of making good the damage, is
thousands of pounds.

be as observant whilst out and about and do something about it by
immediately phoning the police. That good citizen could have easily walked
on by !
