Crime: 25 February 2008

I am sorry to say, car crime has really crept up and everyone needs to be on the lookout for suspicious activity and report it to us. Can everyone put the 0845 8 505 505 number in their mobile phones for when they are out and about. Just to add we have had another hard top to a Mazda MX5 stolen last night - that makes about 5 or 6 in the last few weeks. The offenders apparently break in and simply unclip them. Surely someone has seen this happening - they must be quite big things to walk around with ! They have all been different colours. Is there a market for them out there ?

CRIME:

RIVER AREA:

22/1 6.45 - 6.49 P.M. Sheephouse Road. Offenders have broken side gate and smashed glass in the front door to porch area. No entry was gained and nothing taken. It is thought the offender used a copy of yellow pages which had been left there !! A note to us all ? If you have a scheme and yellow pages are delivered, if they are sitting outside peoples houses after say 9.30 a.m. they are obviously not in. Can everyone take them in, leaving a note through the door.
